Wen Fan is an Associate Professor in the Department of Sociology at Boston College. Her research interests include work and family, health and well-being, life course, social change, and quantitative methods. She is currently working on three collaborative projects. The first project uses a U.S. nationally representative panel of remote workers to understand continuities, changes, and disparities in the experiences of remote and hybrid work in the time of COVID-19. The second project examines the worker, organizational, and societal impacts of four day workweek trials. In a third project, she investigates the pandemic-precipitated social change and its mental health impacts in China.
